May 14, 2026 (Vancouver Island, BC) – Vancouver Island Pickleball, supported by Title Partner Owen Williams – Raymond James, is excited to announce a brand new partnership with Skechers Canada, who become the “Official Shoe of Vancouver Island Pickleball.”

The partnership will see Skechers Canada providing support for the VIPB brand through several avenues that include social media collaborations and support, Skechers product giveaways, content creation guidance, exclusive discounts through activations, and branding at Island pickleball tournaments and outings.
In return, VIPB will feature the Skechers Canada brand through its social and web platforms, original content, and at Island events and tournament appearances. Together, Skechers and VIPB will provide web visitors, pickleball fans, and players in Western Canada an opportunity to hit the courts in comfort and style.

VIPB has experienced significant growth and success in its efforts to promote the sport on Vancouver Island for recreational players and aspiring pros.
