CNPL and DUPR officially sign partnership, aim to standardize and grow Pickleball Globally

  • March 14, 2025
duprcnplrelease

The Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL) and Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) have officially signed a partnership, marking a significant step forward in the standardization and growth of the sport. As part of this collaboration, DUPR will become the official rating system of CNPL, reinforcing a commitment to competitive integrity and global expansion.

DUPR Release

DUPR, with over a million users and a presence in more than 150 countries, is widely recognized as the most accurate and globally accepted rating system in pickleball. By integrating DUPR into CNPL’s competitive structure, the league is ensuring that players are rated on a fair and consistent scale, fostering a higher level of competition and transparency within the sport.

Pickleball is experiencing explosive growth worldwide, and this partnership aligns with both CNPL’s and DUPR’s shared vision of elevating the game to new heights. Standardized ratings help bridge gaps between different regions, making it easier for players from various skill levels and locations to compete on a level playing field. This move will also help facilitate international competition, bringing together the best players from around the world under a unified system.

For CNPL, adopting DUPR as the official rating system enhances player development and provides fans with a more insightful way to track performance and progress throughout the season. With DUPR’s data-driven approach, CNPL players will benefit from a system that continuously refines itself based on match outcomes, ensuring the most accurate assessment of skill levels.

This collaboration underscores the shared mission of CNPL and DUPR: to grow the game of pickleball in a structured, competitive, and global-minded way. As more organizations and leagues embrace a unified rating system, the sport’s legitimacy and reach will continue to expand, paving the way for a more connected and competitive pickleball community worldwide.
