West Shore Parks & Rec provide update on outdoor pickleball courts

  • May 28, 2025

Vancouver Island Pickleball, powered by Courtside Sports, reached out to the West Shore Parks & Recreation (WSPR) team to confirm details for the centre’s upcoming pickleball courts. Shout out to Victoria BC Pickleball Meet-ups for providing an initial update on the courts.

Update (May 31, 2025)

The courts are now open, with an official opening still scheduled for mid-June.

Details provided by the WSPR team below.

WSPR are currently building out the online booking functionality and conducting testing on their website, once complete players will be able to use the following link: https://explore.wspr.ca/Westshore/public/booking/items/PICKLEBALLCOURTSONLINE to book.

WSPR plans to offer the reserve courts #’s 1 – 4 for a $16 fee for a 2 hour session. Courts 5 & 6 will be drop in only.

Players will be able to book both same day and 1 week in advance.

Tentative grand opening is aiming for mid June.
