Salmon Capital Pickleball Classic Shines in Campbell River

The Campbell River Pickleball Association welcomed 153 players to the very first Salmon Capital Pickleball Classic Tournament, turning August 29-31 into three thrilling days of competition. Across six courts and 11 events, an impressive 292 matches delivered nonstop action, sportsmanship, and outstanding play.

Spectators and athletes alike raved about the stunning medals created by internationally renowned Indigenous designer Corinne Hunt, celebrated for co-creating the 2010 Olympic Games medals. Campbell River’s pickleball community showed incredible energy and support, making for a special event.
