Following their appearance, the team provided an update on their on-court play, the experience, and what’s next! Thanks to the squad for passing along the update.
“With great pride and enthusiasm, “Banditos” represented Vancouver Island and Canada at the USA MiLP Nationals in Dallas, Texas earlier this month.
The team performed well, despite their losses with two of four matches going to a Dreambreaker, and many games going to extra points. The level of competition was top tier, and a privilege to be a part of.
Ultimately, defeat is a great motivator and the very best education. The team will be training harder with this larger perspective and international experience in mind. We are so glad we had the opportunity to go and can’t wait to come back bigger and better next year!
– Emma, Daren, Danielle and Jakob“
