Pickle for Hunger 2025 a major success

Event Update: The Nanaimo Pickleball Club hosted Pickle for Hunger 2025 on November 15 at the Oliver Woods Community Centre. The one-day pickleball tournament featured men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles across eight courts, with proceeds supporting the Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank.

The event far exceeded expectations, raising $14,648.08 and collecting over 500 lbs of groceries. The original fundraising goal was $2,000.
