The Sooke Pickleball Club is excited to announce the inaugural Sooke Paddle Battle, to be held in May 2025 at the SEAPARC Recreation Centre in Sooke, BC. Join us for an exhilarating weekend of pickleball action on six temporary courts set up for this special event!
VENUE: SEAPARC Recreation Centre – 2168 Phillips Rd, Sooke, BC
Please Note: The venue has a concrete floor, and courts will be marked with temporary taped lines.
ENTRY FEES: $60 and $15 per additional event

May 3rd: Men’s & Women’s Doubles
May 4th: Mixed Doubles & Mixed Doubles 55+
The tournament will begin at 8:00 AM and continue throughout the day. Specific timing will depend on registration numbers and is subject to change. Our priority is to allow the most teams possible into each category while minimizing bye times to ensure an enjoyable and competitive experience for all participants.
All players must be members of Pickleball Canada.
Create your account with Pickleball Tournaments before registration opens. You cannot register for the tournament unless both you and your partner have accounts.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust formats, start times, or combine divisions based on registration.

Approved Paddles Only: All paddles must be on the USAPA approved list. Players are responsible for verifying compliance here: https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/
Warm-Up: Warm-ups will not be guaranteed
Arrival: Check-in 30 minutes before event start time; events may begin early if courts are available.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse entry to any player.
Eye protection is highly recommended for all players.
If a player is wearing clothing or using a paddle the same colour as the ball, they may be asked to change either item by the Tournament Director.
UPDATE: With the recent transition to DUPR ratings, players can now register for higher-level categories regardless of their skill level. However, the tournament director reserves the right to adjust player registration based on their DUPR scores to ensure fair competition.
Please note: Pickleball Tournaments has implemented a service fee of $5 USD per event (maximum of $10 USD). This administrative fee is beyond our control and goes directly to Pickleball Tournaments and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
