The North Cowichan Pickleball Club presents the 2nd Annual Cowichan Valley Fall Ball tournament, taking place October 9–11, 2026, at the indoor courts at Queen Margaret’s School Sports Hall, 660 Brownsey Avenue, Duncan, B.C.

A portion of the tournament proceeds will be donated to Queen Margaret’s School to support the continued development of its pickleball programming.
“We are excited for the second annual Fall Ball at Queen Margaret’s School this October,” said organizer Pat Poczobut. “Building off the success of last year, we have now added a 55+ age category for every event, and we are also offering men’s and women’s singles, which will be tons of fun to watch.”
The tournament begins Friday, October 9, at 5:30 p.m. with men’s and women’s singles, offered in divisions up to 3.49 and 3.5 and above. Saturday will feature men’s and women’s doubles in 3.0–3.49, 3.50–3.99, and 4.0–4.49 skill divisions, with Any Age and 55+ categories.
Sunday will wrap up the weekend with mixed doubles in the same skill divisions and age categories. Each event requires a minimum of four teams and may be combined between Any Age and 55+ divisions if participation is limited.
“Playing and coaching tons of pickleball this summer, it’s great to see all the new faces being introduced to this wonderful community ,” added Poczobut. “I’m happy to host a tournament like the Fall Ball to bring people from all over the Island together for a fun, exciting event. I look forward to bringing more of those new and old players together and continuing to build this community and sport. We’ll see you all on October 9–11!”
Tournament results will be uploaded to players’ DUPR profiles. Players are reminded that paddles must be USAPA approved; the approved paddle list is available at equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/.
